I got so sick of constantly tweaking to get my G2's performing well (ended up selling them) and once I would get it tuned pretty good, I'd come back after an update or after a couple of weeks and my performance was dog shit. Finally went 1440p wide screen with TIR and love it. Never have frame issues. It's beautiful and it just works. No tweaking, just flying. I do miss VR (when it was running good) though. I miss cranking my head around in dogfights. So much more fun. Maybe I'll try the Quest 3's soon.

I think VR is on the edge. With the much higher resolution headsets and next gen 5000 series GPU's mext year i think VR will finally be viable

Dont use your flaps they overspeed at around 250 a belive and pro Tip dont use your alerons to rotate at this high AOA use uour rudder

VR is infinitely better if you have a decent resolution headset.

I've got TrackIR 5 and a Meta Quest 2. So far I've only used TrackIR 5, but am tempted to use Meta Quest 2 for DCS. My issue is having to reach keyboard/mouse while in VR...or fumble with switches/buttons on my HOTAS.

All I've used is my quest 2 and I have a 4k tv but don't have track ir. I've been considering getting it, it's just expensive for something idk if I'll like better

I prefer vr to my head tracking just something about it and I get that feint feeling in my stomach def worth getting used to vr dogfights become way more engaging
